Three-Dimensional CFT
Since patients generally lie flat on a table, we tend to think of CFT strain in two dimensions…i.e., the hip is pulling on the neck, the shoulder is pulling on the head. In reality as many of our research infants moved actively in space with two therapists, we saw the twisting third dimension. The great aspect of treating a child/adult standing is that it puts this twisting third dimension in play. It could be a critical factor in their healing.
