As a lay explanation of CFT, practitioners treat tight people. When we help loosen them, their bodies function better.
Tightness can manifest in many conditions. Infants can have colic, reflux and breastfeeding issues. Children can have asthma, headaches and cognitive issues. Adults can have pain. The restriction of the craniosacral fascial system involves a wide range of conditions.
The brain and spinal cord need to have normal neurophysiologic motion and the fascial web must have freedom. When physical and/or emotional trauma tightens this system, the quality of life can suffer.
We feel compassion for people suffering their entire lives because they had a difficult birth. Our “agenda” is to end this distress by bringing awareness of CFT at birth to the world.
