“Toddler Walk”

Today a mom said her pediatrician noted her child had “toddler walk”. She walked like a drunken sailor and had some minor balance issues. But in time the doctor said, she would grow out of it.

I disagree. The pulling/twisting fascial strain in the legs and pelvis need to be released to create a stable pelvic base. On evaluation she did have these strains, and I expect them to be worked out over a series of visits.

We do not believe you outgrow anything in infancy. The craniosacral fascial strain is still there, sometimes layer on layer, and it just reappears as another condition later in life.
