What Is Birth Trauma?

A reader asks, “What is birth trauma?”

Good question. My answer: Were the fetus experiences forces that strain the fascial web.

I have two major points around this aspect.

1. These experiences, like cord wrapped, vacuum suction, cone head, long labor, etc. that are today considered “normal” can create lifelong problems. That thinking needs to change. Does the girl in this photo suffer from the effects of birth trauma?

2. Our biggest birth trauma issue is sustained compressive fetal trauma, where the fetus is stuck in a position for an extended period of time. A lot of people on the planet are suffering today because of that. It’s on no one’s radar screen for trauma. That thinking needs to change.

These traumas need to be worked out on day one. I have many articles on the website about birth trauma where you could spend hours reading.
