Wisdom man kicking soccer ball - Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

The Wisdom of the Gillespie Approach

A patient presented with this history:

“Between physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors, I have seen a total of nine practitioners for my chronic lower back pain of the past seven years. As a thirty-year-old man, I was very sad to be affected by this pain after driving an uncomfortable car and suffering a soccer injury. Eventually, I developed a pelvic tilt, and my right dominant leg was often doing most of the work while sitting and standing.”

There are three healthcare options for him: The first would be the conventional medical model who would undoubtedly recommend drugs, surgery, and technology to manage his problem. Since they are not searching for the root cause, he may spend a lot of time and money over his lifetime never getting well.

The second option would be doing complementary structural therapies to “fix” the problem. But “fixing” did not work for him. He was depending on those providers with years of schooling and experience to determine in their scientific minds what would “fix” his problem.

The third option would be the Gillespie Approach, which solely depends on the craniosacral fascial system remembering its past traumas and its ability to heal itself with my assistance. Years of schooling, extensive experience, and a specific treatment plan are not necessary if I just listen to his body and facilitate the healing.

“After my first visit to Dr. Gillespie, I was very pleased to feel a restored sense of balance in my pelvis. I am looking forward to continuing my healing journey with him and highly encourage anyone who hasn’t had much luck to give this unique healing method a go.”

Even though his craniosacral fascial system was strained through a lifetime of traumas, it started to walk me through that maze to authentically heal. This is the wisdom of the Gillespie Approach.
